Our AI Workshop Model: Listening, Learning, and Preparing for the Future of Work
Ourmedia’s AI Literacy & Career Readiness Workshops equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and practical frameworks they need to navigate a future shaped by artificial intelligence. Designed specifically for Gen Z, our workshops blend hands-on activities with structured reflection to surface real-time student insights—and spark the kinds of conversations that help educators and employers better support young people entering the workforce.
These sessions aren’t just about teaching AI concepts. They’re about listening deeply, bridging understanding gaps, and making space for students to envision how they want to engage with AI in their education and careers.
Three core elements to our approach:

Workshops that Build AI Literacy & Career Readiness
Students engage in scenario-based exercises that explore how AI is changing learning, job search strategies, and workplace norms—equipping them with the mindset and skills to adapt.

Student-Centered Dialogue & Reflection
Through interactive poster boards, group discussions, and reflection prompts, students respond to three core questions across the education-to-employment journey.
3.
Insight Generation for Educators and Employers
We collect and analyze qualitative data—post-session reflections, follow-up surveys, and interviews—to create thematic reports that reveal student needs, concerns, and bright spots.
AI Ready Edu: Insights from the Field
At the AI Ready Edu event, we put our workshop model into action—engaging students, faculty, and workforce leaders across ten Orange County community colleges. The sessions sparked thoughtful conversations and surfaced emerging themes around how today’s students are thinking about AI in their education and career journeys.
